Less than a week to go...

Christmas has come and gone here in Japan...and the rest of the world at this point. My holiday was as pleasant as it could be since I didn`t get to go home this year. I had a busy few days and then a few free days. The English classroom I work at finished classes for the year on Saturday the 21st. I had one class that morning and then I went to work out. Koichi and I went for lunch and shopping that afternoon/evening. I had planned to clean my house that day because the next day friends were coming over for dinner. Unfortunately I didn`t get anything done on Saturday! That meant waking up Sunday morning and getting to work. I had to clean, go see a musical production several of my students were in, and cook dinner for 6 adults and 3 children all in one day! Thanks to my husband helping me and being such a good sport about me barking orders all day long I got it all done in time! Now, some pics from this month! Just 2 Weeks Left: Recap of 2013

I can`t believe 2013 will be over in just 2 more weeks. Is it just me or has this year flown by? It`s been a pretty good year for me overall. January I celebrated the New Year in Texas with Koichi at my dad`s house. We went shopping almost all day on the 31st and then fell asleep early that night. On the 1st we visited some friends and my mom before heading to my dad`s house to pack up to leave the following day. On the 2nd we flew to LA to see one of his oldest friends and his family. We spent one night there and then flew back to Japan. While we were on the flight to Tokyo my second niece was born! I now have 4 nephews and 2 nieces :) Here she is in a sling my friend here in Japan made for my sister to use! February In February Koichi and I went took a day trip up north to a town called Izumi to see tons of cranes that migrate to Kagoshima every year from Siberia! It was an amazing site.
